We have received this very sad news from Ed Cloutman.

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that my partner and best friend of over thirty years passed away peacefully today on 11th November 2019 – Armistice Day. How appropriate that it happened today, close to 11am, a day that meant so much to Jan as every year while she was president of the St Athan WI she would stand at the war memorial in the village while the service took place for all those brave men and women. When she could no longer stand for the service she would listen to it on the television.

Ken Stoneman

We have received this sad news from Alan Shepherd at Gwynfa.

Ken Stoneman passed away on Tuesday 28th May. Ken has been a member of Gwynfa since the very early days of the club and during that time occupied several committee roles including Chairman and Treasurer. He will be missed by everyone.

Malcolm Owen

We’ve received this sad news from Mike Jones.

Malcolm Owen, former member of the Rhondda Camera Club, passed away on Wednesday 22nd May.

Graham Jones

Sad news from Des Daughton at Trostre CC..

It is with sadness and deep regret that I have to inform you of the death of our dear friend Graham Jones, Upper Tumble.

In his time a staunch member of the Trostre Camera Club who will be greatly missed not only for his photography but for his slant on different matters, his great advice and also for his wry sense of humour.

May he rest in peace.

Mike Stokes

We have been informed of the very sad news that Mike Stokes, immediate past Deputy Chairman of the Bridgend Camera Club, passed away last Monday.

His funeral will be held at Coychurch Crematorium at 1.15pm on Friday 3rd November. Donations to Y Bwthyn Newydd at Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.

Alun Lewis

Sad news from Llanelli Photographic Society. Alun Lewis passed away last Saturday, he was 68.

His funeral will be held on 19 October at the Llanelli Crematorium at 11 am.

He was Llanelli’s current external competition secretary and as such would be familiar to many of the clubs in the WPF.

Royston Kneath

As many of you will already know, Royston Kneath has sadly passed away.

Roy was a very active person on the Swansea camera scene and a WPF speaker and judge of long standing.

His family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts, wishes and sympathy which has meant so much to his wife Laura, and daughters Suzy Richards and Jennifer Kneath.

They would like to invite you to join them in celebrating his life on Tuesday 5th September 2017. Full details below.

Roy was passionate about Swansea’s history and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Royal Institution of South Wales charitable work acting as the Friends of Swansea Museum. Donations will help preserve Swansea’s past for future generations.
