Inn Focus Group (1st) and Tenby (2nd) proved to be the class of the field at the Ace of Clubs. Both clubs go on the represent the WPF at the National DPI Championships at Warwick. The plate competition was won by Gwent.

A list of previous winners of the Ace of Clubs has been added to the page relating to the competition. There are a few blanks when we think the event wasn’t held, but if you know differently, please let us know. (Page 2 shows the results of the Plate competition).

Congratulations to Tenby on winnng the 2013  Ace of Clubs and to Inn Focus for finishing second. Normally those two clubs would go forward to Warwick but as Inn Focus have already qualified, this year there will be an extra WPF club, namely Ebbw Vale, who finished joint third with Bridgend but went through in a tense play off. Congratulations also to Western Valley who won the plate. More details follow when we have them. Hint hint – anyone going to write a report? Well done to hosts, Gwynfa, for organising the event. Tenby won the Ace of Clubs on Sunday 19th February with Inn Focus being runners up. You can see Tenby’s winning photos here. The complete set of scores, including individual scores for each round, can now be found here.

Gwynfa Camera Club (with 182 points) won the 2011 Ace of Clubs competition hosted by Gwent Photographic & Digital Imaging Society. They pipped Bridgend by 2 points.The Plate competition was won by Llanelli. Continue reading “Gwynfa Wins Ace of Clubs 2011”
