2026 PAGB Inter-Federation Competition & Exhibition
Competition – The competition was judged on Saturday 20th June 2026 and the results are now available here.
The WPF achieved a very creditable 7th place (out of 15) in the Colour Print Section. We were =13th in the Monochrome Print Section and =10th in the Nature Print Section.
Our congratulations go to Owen Edmonds of Bargoed CC on receiving a Judge’s Award for his Monochrome Print, ‘Solitude’.
My thanks go to all the photographers whose work was selected to represent WPF.
Exhibition – The opening will be at 2pm on 18th July 2026 at The Old School House, Churchbridge, Oldbury, B69 2AS (the home of Smethwick PS) when the awards will be presented.
Print Returns – I do not yet know what prints will be included in the exhibition. I will be collecting the prints which will not be used, together with those included in the 2025 exhibition, on 11th July 2026. When I know whose prints I have, I will arrange for their return.

PAGB Interfederation – WPF Selections
2026 PAGB Inter-Federation Competition & Exhibition
Our thanks go to Gareth Martin who, with me, selected 20 prints to be entered in each of three sections, mono, colour and nature, in this event. A list of the prints selected is here. (A corrected file was added on 2nd June 2026).
I have to submit our entry by 14 June and the judging takes place on 20 June. All being well, I shall be present.
There will be a further report following release of the official results.

Monmouth PC Print Exhibition
Monmouth Photographic Club will be having an exhibition of members’ prints at Monmouth Community Hub and Library, The Rolls Hall, Whitecross st, Monmouth NP25 3BY. The exhibition runs from 18th April to 23rd May 2026.

Exhibition for Aberystwyth’s Tony Hicklin
On Saturday 1st August Aberystwyth Camera Club will be holding an exhibition of the work of Tony Hicklin, their President and dear friend, who has passed away recently. Prints will be on sale and, due to the generosity of local businesses, there will also be some fabulous raffle prizes. Every penny raised will go to the Stroke Association.
8th Masters of Print Opening Day
The eighth masters of print was opened on Saturday 2nd August by the PAGB Vice President, Peter Young CPAGB AFIAP LRPS HonPAGB, and the WPF President, Ron Lines DPAGB EFIAP/s LRPS AWPF BPE3.
The exhibition continues until 9th September 2025 at Bedwelty House, Tredegar, NP22 3XN.

Gwynfa Summer Exhibition
Gwynfa’s summer Print Exhibition will be held at Garth Olwg Lifelong Learning Centre, St. Illtyds Rd, Church Village, Pontypridd CF38 1RQ from 22nd July to 7th August.
Note: it is not open on weekends. Opening hours are as follows:

Maesycwmmer CC Exhibition
Maesycwmmer Camera Club is holding an exhibition at Bedwellty House, Morgan Street, Tredegar, NP22 3XN until July 15th. All are welcome and entry is free.

Masters of Print Exhibition Opens
The 7th PAGB Masters of Print Exhibition is now open at Bedwellty House and Park. It is the first time the exhibition has visited Wales.
Address: Morgan Street, Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent, NP22 3XN.
Closing date: 17th September.
Opening Hours: Bedwellty House is open daily from 9.30am – 4.30pm.
The Orchid House Tea Room is open daily from 10.30am – 4.00pm.
Parking: Please note that only disabled parking is available on-site. Public, free parking can be located on Morgan Street, before the main gates of Bedwellty House and Park, and on Stable Lane. More information here.
