The judging for this years competition was held on Monday 18th March, the competition attracted entries from within the WPF as well as from North Wales, England, Scotland, Australia and South Africa. The difficult task of judging the diverse range of seuences was undertaken with great skill and humour by Linda Gibbs MPAGB AV-AFIAP and Edgar Gibbs FRPS, MPAGB AV-AFIAP of Gwynfa Camera Club. After a close competition the results were as follows:-
1st        The Sands Of Time by Adri van Oudheusden from Port Elizabeth South Africa
2nd      Celtic Vision by David Neal from Tregaron
3rd       Milwaukee Art Museum by Paul Green from Bridgend CC
H.C.     Fendrod Swans by Jeff Driscoll from Swansea CC
H.C.     West Ireland – Land, Sea And Sky by Chris Timbrell from Bridgend CC
The judges received praise for the clear and concise critiques of each sequence as well as the constructive suggestions they put forward. A very pleasant and stimulating evening was had by all who attended. Bridgend CC thanks Linda and Edgars and all those who entered sequences. A DVD of this years entries, including the Judges critiques, will be sent to all clubs affiliated to the WPF. Details of the 2014 competition will be available via our website later in the year.
