New Quay Camera Club has always supported the WPF to the best of our ability. Distance to any event is always a problem. Some of our members were able to visit the Welsh Salon Exhibition this year and were proud to be able to see our members’ accepted prints on display among all the other superb images.
Four members entered this year and had nine acceptances including two awards. We celebrated their achievements in our club room and invited our long standing, twice past town mayor, Jennifer Davies to present them:
First time entrant Simon Harding won a Judge’s Award for his Pdi “Carreg Ddu Milky Way” and Colin Price AWPF EFIAP PPSA received a WPF Ribbon for for his print “Frosty Boardwalk”
We are a small, very active photographic club and are always proud to play a small part in the WPF events whenever possible.
A grateful thanks to all those members who worked so hard to make the Welsh Salon such a success. A special thank you to David Condon who has been my main contact.
At the same time we congratulated ourselves on having an extremely successful 9 day exhibition. We had hundreds of pleasing complimentary comments and an added bonus was the sale of many prints and cards.
