The 2025 edition of the Barrian Cup was a great success with a good turn-out and some excellent prints. Barry CC have asked us to thank all those clubs who entered and everyone who attended for making it such a great event.
The Barrian Cup Trophy was jointly won by Bridgend and Monmouth with 97 points each, the first ever joint winners in the history of the event. Rhondda finished a close third on 96.
Congratulations to the winners of the Dave Cowdrey Trophy (Tony France of Rhondda) and the Mike Lewis Cup (Emma Woodhouse of RPC). It was a pleasure to have Dave Cowdrey’s daughter Karen ‘Kaz’ Cowdrey present her Dad’s award.
The event was judged by Gareth Martin AWPF CPAGB and his individual scores can be seen here.
Finally in recognition of the contribution from Barry Town Council, a big thank from Barry CC goes to the Barry Town Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Dennis Clarke and his wife Janet who kindly opened and closed the event.
