As we come out of the restrictions of the Covid years we look back on 2 Virtual Conferences where the audience, speakers and organisers, all remote from each other combined to provide events of significant photographic value.
In 2021 our Speakers included Danny Green, Paul Colley, David Keen and John Balloten.
In 2020 the Speaking team included Bernard Geraghty, Ross McElvey, Sharon Prenton Jones and Barry Barker.
All the Speakers were outstanding in their disciplines and we particularly thank them for sharing information on their equipment and workflow. Barry Barker and John Balloten went further sharing their personal experiences and ambitions – not always the easiest of things but perhaps unforgettable.
We are now faced with the dilemma of another virtual Conference or a return to the physical and residential weekend so desired by our core of dedicated Conference goers. We have compromised and will attempt to create a hybrid event that will permit the vulnerable to use Zoom from Home while the more adventurous may meet physically in a designated Conference room containing Zoom Projection facilities.
