The 2014 Barrian Cup on Saturday 14th June was a great success, with a packed Millennium Hall Brian Swinyard judged the 105 prints with constructive and positive comments and made the point that there were a lot of high scores due to the very high quality of work on show.
The Winners of The Barrian Cup were Western Valley C.C. with 97 points, followed by Ebbw Vale C.C. 93, Merthyr Tydfil C.CÂ 93, Gwynfa C.C. 92 and Hanham P.S. from Bristol 92 points. The Winner of the Dave Cowdrey Trophy for the best Landscape/Seascape print went to Roger Walding of Dean P.C.with his print Severn Twilight.
Barry Camera Club would like to thank all the Clubs who entered with a special thank you to all the people who attended on the day, we hope you enjoyed the photography and the refreshments at the end. We look forward to seeing you again next year
