So near and yet so far at Warwick 2011…
Gwynfa finished joint first in the plate final of the National DPI Championships at Warwick but failed to collect the trophy after a nail biting tie break. Very well done to Jenny Hibbert AWPF MPAGB who had a print accepted in the RPS Print Exhibition. There were 2500 prints entered & they chose 123 so to have a print accepted is marvellous. The print accepted was Hard Times for Polar Bears.

Inn Focus Win 2011 Premier League
Inn Focus have won the South Wales Premier League for Photography by defeating Bargoed by 265 points to 259. It was a close contest excellently judged by Les Loosemoore with superb images on show throughout the evening. It ended Bargoed’s run of winning the title for the past three seasons. Tom Dee of Inn Focus said ‘following on from our Salon results this puts the icing on the cake for us’.
