It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Mr Dudley M Davies who is listed in the “A†list of judges and has also been listed in the PAGB Handbook for at least fifty years.
Dudley was a founder member of the Carmarthen Photographic Society and for very many years was a leading worker at the Society. He was renown for his beautiful 20 x 16 black and white prints, mostly portraits. Although he hasn’t been a member of the Society for some years he was always willing to come along to judge a monthly competition when required. He is survived by his wife Pat who is in very poor health but they recently celebrated their diamond wedding, and also by sons Andrew and Dorian, both of whom reside in the U.S.A. and his granddaughter Angharad, who lives in Germany.
